Workshops
Hands-on, practical security
BSides Burlington workshops are hands-on sessions where you build real, usable skills — not just watch slides. Led by practitioners, they run in parallel with the talks so you can choose your own adventure throughout the day.
The kinds of topics we love
Offensive
Web and network exploitation, recon, privilege escalation, and red-team tradecraft you can try yourself.
Defensive
Detection engineering, threat hunting, log analysis, incident response, and hardening.
Foundations
Beginner-friendly intros — from your first shell to your first packet capture.
What to bring
- A laptop you can install tools on (or run a VM)
- Any prerequisites the workshop lists in advance
- Curiosity and a willingness to break things in a safe environment
Workshop seats are often limited, so arrive early for the ones you really want. The full line-up will be announced with the schedule.
